The staff of the urology clinic consists of 2 lecturers, 2 associate professors, 2 chief assistants and 10 specialist doctors. The number of assistants is 6. Assistants perform Nephrology, General Surgery and Anesthesiology rotations during their training. The bed capacity of the clinic, which has enough nurses and assistant staff, is 29, and the occupancy rate varies as 70% and above.
Every day 2 general outpatient clinics, 3 days a week urooncology, 1 day andrology, 3 days stone, 2 days women's urology, 2 days child urology polyclinics are performed. In the ESWL unit, kidney stone crushing is applied externally, and patients with voiding disorders are evaluated with the urodynamic device. Procedures such as prostate biopsy, cystoscopy, intracavitary chemotherapy are also performed. Urological surgeries are performed in 2 salons every day of the week. Common operations include prostate, kidney and bladder cancer surgeries, and closed kidney stone surgeries such as percutaneous and RIRS. All kinds of open or closed (laparoscopic, endoscopic) surgical procedures are performed in the clinic. Scientific studies conducted in the clinic are published in various magazines at home and abroad.
